Welcome to Escape Planner. By accessing or using our website and services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Escape Planner provides a credit card debt payoff calculator and related planning tools. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

2. Accounts

To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.

3. Paid Plans

Some features require a paid subscription (“Escape Plan”) or a one-time purchase (“Lifetime”). Pricing is shown on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Polar. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We offer a 7-day, no-questions-asked refund window on all paid purchases. See our Refund Policy for details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to (a) reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service; (b) use the Service to violate any law; (c) upload malicious code; or (d) resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, text, and branding, is owned by Escape Planner and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the data you input. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process that data solely to operate and improve the Service.

7. No Financial Advice

The calculations and recommendations produced by the Service are estimates based on the numbers you enter. They do not account for every fee, promotion, or change in interest rate. Always confirm with your lender and, where appropriate, consult a licensed financial professional before making financial decisions.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Escape Planner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will give you reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction in which Escape Planner operates, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
